Lightweight sandals or flip-flops for the refuge (optional but useful to rest your feet after hiking)

Water bottle or hydration bladder (min. 1.5L)
Headlamp with spare batteries (for nighttime or power outages)
Personal first aid kit (band-aids, disinfectant, medications)
Sun protection (sunscreen, lip balm with UV protection)
Trekking poles (optional but recommended for rough terrain)
Swiss knife or multi-tool
Lightweight and compact towel (preferably microfiber)
Minimalist toiletry kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, biodegradable soap)
Earplugs (for shared dorms in mountain huts)

Phone charger or power bank (outlets are not always available in mountain huts)

FOR THE NIGHT IN THE MOUNTAIN HUT

Lightweight sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner – some mountain huts provide blankets, but a liner is often required for hygiene reasons
Sleep mask (optional if the dormitory is not completely dark)

ADDITIONAL SNACKS

Energy bars, dried fruits, chocolate, or other snacks for the day

PAYMENT TERMS

A 30% deposit is required upon booking.
The balance is due 30 days before departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation up to 60 days before departure: refund of 50% of the deposit.
Cancellation between 59 and 30 days before departure: non-refundable deposit.
Cancellation less than 30 days before departure: no refund.

INSURANCE

Health and accident insurance.
Insurance covering search, rescue and repatriation costs in the event of an accident.
Civil liability insurance including mountain accidents.
By participating in the activity, each person declares that they are in good health and able to practice physical activity in the mountains.

RATES

The prices are in accordance with the recommendations of the Swiss Association of Mountain Guides (ASAM).

PAYMENT TERMS

The full amount is due upon booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of cancellation by the customer, no refund will be made.
However, a credit will be given for a future day hike, valid for one year.

INSURANCE

Health and accident insurance.
Insurance covering search, rescue and repatriation costs in the event of an accident.
Civil liability insurance including mountain accidents.
By participating in the activity, each person declares that they are in good health and able to practice physical activity in the mountains.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment for mountain guiding services can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or through the mobile payment app Twint.

WEATHER

In case of unfavorable weather or safety conditions that compromise the activity, the guide reserves the right to modify or cancel the outing. In this case, a new date will be proposed or a full refund will be issued.

RATES

The rates are in accordance with the recommendations of the Swiss Association of Mountain Guides (ASAM).

RECOMMENDED RATES

Rates recommended by the Swiss Association of Mountain Guides (ASAM):

Full day (max 8 hours): CHF 500.-
Half-day (max 4 hours): CHF 380.-
Evening (max 4 hours): CHF 380.-
Hourly rate: CHF 90.- (min 2 hours)

REPLACEMENT PERSON

If you are unable to participate, you have the right to designate a replacement person up to 7 days before departure, provided they accept the terms of the contract.

RESPONSIBILITY

Each participant assumes responsibility for any theft, loss, material damage, injury, accident, death, or harm caused to themselves or others during participation in our activities. Clan Sauvage declines any responsibility in case of poor performance by its partners.

PROGRAM CHANGES

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Clan Sauvage reserves the right to cancel the activity up to 3 weeks before departure.

RIGHT TO IMAGE

Images and videos taken during activities may be used by Clan Sauvage for marketing purposes, unless you provide written opposition.

APPLICABLE LAW

These conditions are governed by Swiss law.
